You don't give your perscription so noone can judge how bad your astigmatism is currently. However I think you are worrying too much. Astigmatism is not a disease which progresses and makes you blind - its your eyeball not beign the right shape. As you grow the shape becomes more of an issue so you may need a stronger perscription. This tends to settle down in your 20's. Most people of your age worry , but the vast majority of astigmatism can be corrected using glasses /contacts and even those who can't be fully corrected aren't actually blind. This is NOT going to blind you - it is a nuisance but these days glasses and contacts are really good and you may have the option of surgery as you get older. Technology advances in this area by leaps and bounds so even more options may be available to you later.
