"there is no scientifically proven way of improving your eyesight. If there was then noone would wear glasses."

Its been scientifically proven that by using pinholes or a lens you can achieve temporary aided 20/10 eyesight. Its been proven that some people who do not like glasses have improved their sight and no longer need glasses

"However wearing glasses should not give you a headache."
Well you should obviously comply with what hes saying or you are wrong!

"if they give you a headache it implies that the perscription is wrong or there is another issue."
Yes an issue with being duped by sales people with no science in their approach to health issues

"It does help to make glasses as lightweight as possible - sometimes if glasses are very heavy then the weight starts to hurt and rub and its easy to see that as a headache. Modern materials can make very light glasses but they aren't necessarily cheap. I can't see 2 inches without a blur but my glasses are now quite light - not like they used to be years ago when they were awful to wear. Have you considered contact lenses? I find my wonderful. the other thing to do is make sure you aren't getting headaches for other reasons. Working at computer screens doesn't make your eyes worse but it does strain them and glasses make you quite prone to issues with reflections etc if you dont' setup you screen correctly. You also tend to dehydrate. There are lots of answers on yahoo talking about correct screen setup. Your headaches are likely to be a different issue from your glasses and you need to look at how to fix those seperately."

Get contacts. There is no food, vitamin, or miracle drug that will make your eyes have 20/20 vision. You need to wear contacts, glasses, or get the LASIK surgery for good vision.

All food and vitamins will do it make your eye healthy, but a healthy eye is not what causes blurry vision. It is the length or corneal power that makes you see blurry (normally)

4th year optometry student, 7 months until graduation!!

1. Eat healthy food
2. Set good habit and healthy lifestyle
3. Have good rest and allow frequent breaks after doing "close" work
4. Perform eye exercises daily

Lasic surgery can help.......
