Why are my contacts making a circle in my eye?!
Question: Why are my contacts making a circle in my eye?
Answers:
If you have soft contact lenses, it's because they disable oxygen from getting to your corneas, therefore it causes them to be very dry and appear red.
This is actually very common in people who wear soft lenses. I wore them for 4 years and I had the same issue. Then I moved to gas permeable lenses due to my high correction, astigmatism, and eye dryness.
The best thing to do to help prevent this is to not sleep in your contacts over night. Sleeping in them will cause excessive dryness and make them even stick to your eye at some occasion. Try to give your eyes a break and wear your glasses on some days or weekends. You can also buy rewetting drops for your eyes and contacts and apply during the day. This keeps your eyes not so dry.
Take care, Wendy.
Oh! You just put them in wrong and need to take them out and put them in again.. or your tired... if thats the case get a good night sleep hun!
