Is watching stuff on a small screen bad for your eyes?!

Size isn't the problem, the problem is short distance. Your eyes suffer when they are forced to look at something very close for a long time.

Bad for your eyeballs no, it will not make you go blind, make you need glasses or any of the other nonsense being bandied about. It is possible however that you will get eyestrain (where the muscles of the eye get overworked), which doesn't really cause you any damage but it will hurt. Eyestrain can cause headaches, and also dry eyes because you don't blink as often. Also, when your eyesight becomes fuzzy (straight lines appear more like tv static), then it's time to give your eyes a break or you're in for a whopper of a headache.

I would think if it was clear to watch and you do not have to strain your eyes or make an effort to see it, it will be fine, it is when we strain our eyes that we damage them.

right, and if u watch it in the dark, then that is even worser:(
