Question: I want to buy contacts but confused on my prescription?
ok so i want to buy lens circles so it asks for my prescription well the eye doctor gave me this
-0.75-2.75x98
-0.50-2.00x062
ok so that's for each eye but which numbers do i use.
do i use the -0.75 or -2.75???
an what does this mean?

You need them all...-0.75 - 2.75 X 98 is the prescription for your right eye...both powers and the axis is needed , or you won't see with them.

You have a lot of astigmatism that has to be corrected or you won't see with your contacts.

That is a prescription for glasses, not for contacts to begin with.

You need special toric lenses for astigmatism , which means there is no way you can guess at what will work for you.

Sorry , but you better forget the Circle lenses, you won't see with them.
