I need glasses plus need to wear them at school but i know everyone will laguh b!

There is an alternative that most people don't know about.
It gives you 20/20 vision but by using pinholes rather than lenses. They look cool but have the disadvantage of not being suitable for nighttime use and being unsuitable for walking around while wearing them.

I think it should be possible for these glasses to made to look like traditional ones by using the special glass that's used in car windows to make one side black and the other clear . But it looks like noones thought of that yet. (or there is noone wanting to buy a pair that look like real glasses.

The other issue I wanted to discuss was whether you are comfortable enough with using your near vision. You see, to get the eye to adjust and see any distance its required for it's (ciliary) muscle to either contract or relax. You can't just force this muscle to change because it works subconsciously. However we can ensure that we get the maximum range (near to far) if we are relaxed and allowing ourselves to let the object in view be brought up close or far. So if you do sometimes feel awkward with your near vision I suggest to change your thinking and be 100% comfortable with it. You'll notice by doing this that your distance vision will come easily and clearly to you.

So if you have some money, buy something that you will enjoy using for a period of time (using your near vision). If you dont like books you can maybe fix cars, buy a cool smartphone with cool apps and games, or maybe get a girlfriend. Being with her would involve plenty of near vision.

Have to agree with Cicley here. Why do you care what people think if they hate you? You are far too concerned with what other people think. Wear your glasses and enjoy seeing the world around you.

If they already hate you, what do you have to lose? Wear the glasses. At least you'll be able to see clearly.
