Really bad pain in left eye like someone is pushing on my eyeball and pain in ey!


Question: Really bad pain in left eye like someone is pushing on my eyeball and pain in eyebrow when touching it?
I also see floater! I have been on the computer for 3 months Straight because I had a sever viral infection and I now have a cervical strain so I am bed riddin once again and I only have the TV and COMPUTER to doz and watch! Is it a eye strain? I also have a little blurry ness but just a little in left eye and that's only if I close my right eye or look up! My eyes are also very dry no matter what I do and I keep squinting and can't help it! I am also very tired but this has happened b4 4 days ago but went away then came back today

Firstly computers and the TV don't damage your eyes so dont' worry too much about that. Screens do dry your eyes though and if you haven't been able to get out and about and aren't too well anyway you are going to have problems. In addition to drops you could try warm compresses. Not having your vision properly corrected isnt' going to help. You need to get your glasses fixed and start wearing them, particularly if you are going to spend that long on the TV /computer as straining your eyes isnt' going to help headaches etc although it wont' damage your eyes. The other problem is that if you are straining your eyes you tend not to sit correctly when using screens and that will give you problems with your back, your neck , headaches etc. If you've been using your laptop in bed this could well be a problem.

Now the sort of pain you describe could be optical migraine, however as you haven't been well it might be a symptom or side effect of your illness. I'd suggest you check in with teh doctor as well as the optiican.
