Question: Have a Red Eye dont think it's pink eye?
ok all my smart yahoo ppl i got a problem wit my eye now before i tell u the problem i"ll tell you my history i use to wear contacts about 5yrs ago but for 3yrs i got a real bad red eye and i think it was around the same time each year like fall so i stop wearing contacts and got glasses. My problem now is i got a red eye now i dont think it's pink eye cause my kids dont have it and they sleep on all my pillows i cant keep them off them lol plus i just got it after i spent a night over mycousins house who has a dog and i am allergic to certain dogs (if that makes sense) so my question is could this be a allergy and could they last this long

You ask if "it" could last this long but don't say how long, unless you mean the 3 years. So yes it could be allergies which often come back every year or when we are exposed to a specific allergens. It is fall, at least in parts of the USA and you are allergic to dogs. Try some over the counter eye drops and tablets for allergies. If you haven't had an eye exam in 3 or more years, you might want to do that also.

Everyone should have a comprehensive dilated eye exam every few years. Most of us don't see an Ophthalmologist or optometrist until we have a real problem, which might have been prevented or minimized if we had regular exams.
