Yes. Research has shown that all blue-eyed people have a common ancestor. This means both of your parents carry the blue eyed gene, which is passed down from previous generations. Funnily enough both of my parents have blue eyes, and mine are green. I always wished my eyes were blue like theirs. :-)

I'm Armenian also and the majority of my family is dark haired and dark eyed. I have hazel eyes, sometimes turn a bit green, with dirty blonde/light brown hair, but my parents have dark brown hair and brown eyes. My brother also had brown hair/eyes. My dad's parents and sister/brother have dark hair/eyes. My mom's side of the family has some blues and greens but there is not ONE person in my family, on either side, who has hazel eyes, except me. I thought I was adopted because I don't look a thing like my family, but I guess I'm wrong. :o) Don't know why that happens, but I suppose it just does sometimes. :o)

I'm half Armenian also and I have blue eyes. It just means that at some point back we had a least one ancestor with blue eyes on both our Armenian side and our European side...it could have been a Crusader, a Celt, a Greek or Roman that somehow mixed in with the Armenian...who knows?! That allele was overpowered by the dominant brown eye gene, but it became visible in us because both sets of our parents carry the blue eye gene...even if none of them have blue eyes.

They also say that many Armenians used to have blue eyes and blond hair until they mixed in with Arabs and Persians.

Either way, we're throwbacks!

Yes very normal. It is all genetics especially italians because they have blue eyes for hundreds of years. I am 25% italian and my eyes came out blue and weird enough my eyes change from blue to green when its cold outside. My eyes are a dark blue as well. It means that your italian genetics were dominate and changed your armenian genetics.

Bio teacher just toke class.

Yes.

Dh's family all have brown hair and eyes. The YS had blonde & blue eyes.

In another family (Asia) many of us there have black hair, except one my class mates had blonde hair and blue eyes. So, their genes goes back centuries back.
