Distant signs look blurry. Should I go see a optometrist?!

Question: Distant signs look blurry. Should I go see a optometrist?
When my spouse is driving, I usually have trouble seeing some of the signs. They get blurry but get clearer when it's about 10 feet away from the car. Even reading gets troublesome because the font gets blurry. I'm 22, don't wear glasses and sits in front of the computer a lot. I take online classes. I do take breaks, though. And I don't sit too close to the monitor. I just want to know if it's because I'm straining my eyes and need to take a break from the computer or I really need to go see a doctor.

I think you probably should have an eye exam to determine what the problem is and treat if necessary.

I think you might have myopia, meaning you only see things clear if they're close enough to you. You're lucky, for me, if it's more than a foot away, I can't see it! But anyway, yes, you should go to the eye doctor. I go every year around the time school starts for the kids.

try the 20-20-20 rule. what that means is every 20 minutes, step away from the computer, and look at something 20 feet away for 20 minutes. like a tv. but make sure its far away.

but yes you should get regular eye exams. maybe book one for the New Year?
