Question: HELP! I am having trouble reading my eye prescription ?
o.d- spherical is -6.00, cylindrical is +3.50, axis is 092
o.s - spherical is -8.00, cylindrical is 3.00, axis is 096
I need to know if this means IM blind or border line also i have astigmatism
and right eye is 20/20 and left eye is 20/40

You are seeing 20/20 in one eye and 20/40 in the other with your glasses on...how can that be borderline blind ?
As long as you are seeing that well with your glasses , there is no reason to even think about going blind.
Blindness happens from disease or trauma...not from having a strong prescription.
