What does it mean when a person has orange eyes with red pupils?!

Question: What does it mean when a person has orange eyes with red pupils?
I take the bus to work every day and on one of my routes the driver of my bus has the strangest coloured eyes. They are orange-gold with red dots in the middle and very little whites showing. They are startling to say the least and the first time I saw them I thought he was maybe wearing contact lenses, but he isn't - these are his natural eyes. I want very much to ask him about them, but I don't know him at all and feel it would be just rude. I wish I had a picture of just his eyes to share because what I'm describing doesn't even do it justice. They look like something out of a science fiction movie. Has anyone ever heard of anything remotely like this? I think it might be a form of ocular albinism, but I'm not sure.

How can you be sure that he's not wearing contacts? That sounds like something out of Naruto or Code Geass...

It's very rare for someone with any kind of albinism to have actual red eyes. That's when they have absolutely no pigment at all, and I'm not actually sure that it's possible for someone with the ocular kind to have them.

Either he has some possibly one-of-a-kind genetic anomaly, or he has really good contacts. Either way, it's really nice of you not to bug him about it. I wish more people had manners like that. :)

He might have ocular albinism. He lacks pigment in his eyes but appears normal otherwise. It is a condition that occurs more in males than females.

It means hes starting to turn into a zombie, if i were u id take a different bus
