Question: Need help PLEASE !?!?
Hi everyone , Im seventeen years old. Almost 2 months ago I woke up one morning to see floater 24/7 they didn't go away after 4 days so I went down to our local hospital to get examined. I went to see a optometrist & he did a exam examination with a microscope & dialted my eyes. He told me that there was nothing wrong with my eyes. I could understand how there was nothing wrong yet I was seeing this in my vision. I then talked to another doctor and he had told me that there was nothing the matter with me and that what I was seeing was normal floaters that everyone see's but does not notice .. he said they would go away over time. They did end up going away. Then here I am 2 months later and It's back agian. I do not want to go through that awful percidure agian for nothing but I am concerend and am not sure what to do. Im only 17 and my parents do not care that this is happening to me, I am very scared I am going to loose my eye sight. I see Tons of floaters usually on walls far away or in the sky when I look up.. I see them all the time in the dark , and I am scared i could possibly have a rentaial detachment , but wouldn't that have been detected the first time i went? please anyone can you help me?

hello, I can see that you have tried everything medical to stop these floaters. i'm muslim, I believe that you could have gotten a dirty look from someone ? or someone has sent the devil to make life difficult ?

Sweety, having floaters is a normal thing which most of the people have on this planet. Even I have been seeing floaters as long as I can remember, and now I'm 32 years and still, my vision is perfect with no glasses or anything. It isokay. They just come and go or are there but we just don't notice them. But if you see lots of floaters and 'flashing lights also' in front of your eyes, then it could be symptoms of a retinal detachment and you should then go immediately to the doctor.
Usually, some people get bothered by it so much that they opt for surgery or something. But that is not necessary at all. Go to aboutfloaters dot com and you will see most of your answers there. hope this helps.
