Is it bad if eye drops burn?!


Question: Is it bad if eye drops burn?
Idk if they r supposed to or what..... I don't have an eye disease I'm like 99.9999% sure but my eyes do get red a lot from like tiredness and stress and stuff.....and when I put eye drops in it burns.....

It depends a lot on the type of eye drops. I personally have always used Rhoto V and they burn pretty bad. However, there are plenty of drops out there that should not burn. Another reason they might burn is if the area that the drops come out of on the container itself is dirty. It is always a good idea to keep this area as clean as possible and not wipe it on things that might contaminate it such as your shirt and hands.

Personal Experiences

Sometimes when my eyes are irritated my eye drops will burn like fire. It wont be long and they will be all cleared up. I've always heard: if its burning its working and if its itching its healing. Idk LOL
