Question: IF you know anything about ophthalmology PLEASE read this *****?
Hi everyone , Im seventeen years old. Almost 2 months ago I woke up one morning to see floater 24/7 they didn't go away after 4 days so I went down to our local hospital to get examined. I went to see a optometrist & he did a exam examination with a microscope & dialted my eyes. He told me that there was nothing wrong with my eyes. I could understand how there was nothing wrong yet I was seeing this in my vision. I then talked to another doctor and he had told me that there was nothing the matter with me and that what I was seeing was normal floaters that everyone see's but does not notice .. he said they would go away over time. They did end up going away. Then here I am 2 months later and It's back agian. I do not want to go through that awful percidure agian for nothing but I am concerend and am not sure what to do. Im only 17 and my parents do not care that this is happening to me, I am very scared I am going to loose my eye sight. I see Tons of floaters usually on walls far away or in the sky when I look up.. I see them all the time in the dark , and I am scared i could possibly have a rentaial detachment , but wouldn't that have been detected the first time i went? please anyone can you help me?

Start by reading the Wiki article about blue field entoptic phenomenon. If this is all you are seeing, your eyes are perfectly normal. It is possible to develop a retinal detachment at any time, even days or weeks after your eyes have been examined.
