Question: Could it take more than a week to adjust to eyeglasses?
I have been told by my eye doctor I have astigmatism in both eyes I went to the eye doctor because i was seeing double of somethings on tv and it's been a week with my glasses and I still see it with my glasses on is this normal is it possible my eyes could be taking awhile to adjust

Could be. It took me 2 or 3 weeks to get used to bifocals; every time that I looked down I though that I was going to fall over.
Just to be on the safe side, you should call the Dr.'s office tomorrow and ask if that symptom is normal.
A week is too long. It can take some time to adjust to glasses or a new perscription but not a week. Go back to the eye doctor and tell him your glasses have a problem.
