Hi, Im 19 And Suffer from a very low white blood cell count. I Was diagnosed with alopecia areta when i was 16 . This is related to my low blood cell count. Doc told me it was nothing to worry about. But recently iv been researching and have had some questions about the effect this may have. if any1 could help id really appriciate it. Thanks.

1. It wouldn't be a good idea for now to become pregnant if you have a weak immune system.
2. It doesn't mean you have HIV. HIV does kill off some your white blood cells, but it doesn't sound like you have HIV.
3. Yes there is. One of them is called Neulasta, it is very expensive and its used by some people who are getting chemotherapy. If you needed it, your doctor would have prescribed it to you.
