Question: Do semi-rimless eyeglasses last long?
but for those semi-rimless eyeglasses, if one piece falls out, i imagine it won't be easy to glue it back on.
so do they last long as the regular glasses? thanks.

If you do a "hard" use,put polycarbonate lenses.They dont brake if fall but be careful with aceton.
Unless you sit on them or step on them , they will last as long as any other kind.
The lenses aren't glued in btw...NO lenses are glued into frames.
A nylon wire holds the lenses securely in place on the semi-rimless. Actually, lenses fall out of regular frames much more often than the semi-rimless.

i think you have to keep in mind the quality and where you get them. also, the care you take of them.
I had half rim / half non-rim glasses for three years and i kept them in really good shape. i never had the glass fall out, but i didnt wear my glasses to sports or stupid stuff. as long as you dont throw them around or place books and heavy weights on them, youre fine :)
