Can massage oils damage eyes?!


Question: Can massage oils damage eyes?
I've just had a facial massage. I had flower spray sprayed on my eyes and massage oils rubbed over my eyes. Obviously I had my eyes closed.

Can liquids hurt your eyes even when they are closed? Do certain amounts still get through even when the eyes are tight shut? Do they get in when you re-open them?

I need honest answers please.

One of the ways we sometimes get drops into an uncooperative child eyes is to plase a drop on his closed eyes and then get him to open his eyes. So yes, liquid on your eye lashes can go in your eyes when you open them.
