Can near-sighted vision affect the way I see myself?!
Question: Can near-sighted vision affect the way I see myself?
Like, I've had horrible vision forever.
I can't see things too well from far away. So, when I look in the mirror from a distance... I look so ******* weird/different. But, when I get close up, I get a way better image of myself. I look like a TOTALLY different person when I get close up to the mirror and actually can see clearly. Could the near-sightedness be the reason that I look so different to myself from farther away?

I think so, I have extreme vision too and have had the same impression. Also have had different glasses over the years with varied prescriptions and noticed differences in personal appearance perception.
