Contact lenses with Glasses?!

Question: Contact lenses with Glasses?
My lense perscription is very poor. ANd I typically cant find contact lens producers who make my perscription. Is it possible to get kind of like "null" or "fake" contact lenses that I can wear with glasses? Kindof, i guess, like wearing reading glasses with contacts. 'cept.. Its the other way around.

Answers:

Your question is so confusing, I can't figure out what you want to do.

There are a few possibilities:

I'm not sure what you mean by fake contacts under glasses; you could wear colored contacts (no prescription) under your glasses to change eye color, if you want.

Some people with wierd or very strong prescriptions, fix part of it with contacts, the rest with glasses, so the glasses aren't so thick and nerdy-looking. Or sometimes they can get a better correction doing it this way.

Some people like to wear really strong glasses (they don't really need them, just sort of a fetish thing); for example, they wear very strong + contacts under strong - glasses, if properly balanced, they can see, is this what you are referring to?

Added:

The scenerio you are describing was listed in my first possibility. Yes, you can wear colored contacts with no lens power under your prescription glasses, if you want, it won't hurt your vision or anything like that.

I don't follow-- if you have a strong prescription not correctable with contacts, and you have to wear glasses just like I do, what would the point be in wearing contacts? I know when I tried contacts, not only did they not work it was a real ordeal just getting the contacts on.
