Why does one of my eyes look like it has a contact lens on it?!

Question: Why does one of my eyes look like it has a contact lens on it?
I wear contacts, and have an astigmatism on my right eye. However, even when I take my contacts out, it looks like I am still wearing one, and feels like I am still wearing one on my right eye. It has the clear ring around it, and when you touch it, it feels like a contact.

Cataracts are very easily seen by an eye specialist and also slow to develop, so I would doubt very much that you have cataracts. You should not feel the contact lens when it is your eye, so I'm wondering if it is possible that you actually have left a lens in your eye and then put a new one over it. Does the vision in your right eye seem different? Make an appointment with your eye specialist so it can be checked out.

Yahoo answerers can only give you best guesstimates, only your eye specialist can give you a definitive diagnosis and that is what you need now.

You need to consult your eye doctor. Keratoconus is one possibility, but there is probably a much simpler explanation.

Sounds a little like you may be developing a cataract on your right eye. Go see your eye doctor.
