What eye drops cure trachoma?!

Question: What eye drops cure trachoma?
I bought a eyedrop that contains 0.2% hypromellose, 0.05% tetrahydrozoline HCI, 0.25% zince sulfate. Would it cure my trachoma?
What brand do you recommend me?

Answers:

You need to be on topical tetracycline ointment and oral Azithormycin.

Me. I am an optometric physician.

No over the counter brand of eye drops will cure Trachoma. Trachoma is a very serious contagious eye disease which if not treated early can cause blindness. If you even think you have this disease, make an emergent appointment with an ophthalmologist or optometrist. Trachoma usually occurs within impoverished, overcrowded developing countries. You may just have conjunctivitis, but you still need to see and eye doctor for an antibiotic prescription.

Antibiotics can prevent long-term complications of Trachoma, if used early in the infection. Antibiotics include erythromycin and doxycycline. In certain cases, eyelid surgery may be needed to prevent long-term scarring, which can lead to blindness if not corrected.
