Can I wear glasses again after using contact lenses for a while?!
Question: Can I wear glasses again after using contact lenses for a while?
I have a severe myopia (approximately -8D, both eyes) and I had been using glasses for over 9 years. Then, approximately 2 years ago, I switched to contact lenses (soft) and never looked back. However, I am concerned that after wearing contact lenses for several years (even though I take them out every night) the surface of my eyes can get damaged.
The problem is that it is now very difficult for me to use glasses again, even though I would like to let my eyes rest sometimes, e.g. during weekends. Probably due to the myopia, my eyes feel a lot of stress and my head starts slightly spinning once I try putting the glasses on again. Is this normal? Is it a good idea to try to use glasses again after having used contact lenses for such a long time?

I switch a lot when using contacts and glasses. It shouldn't harm you, unless your feeling really uneasy about it, go see your eye doctor!
