What is wrong with my girlfriends eye?!


Question: What is wrong with my girlfriends eye?
O.K my girlfriend has a blood shot eye. Its only her left eye and she says it doesn't hurt or it doesn't irritate her it just looks blood shot. She also said it has happened to her 4 times before in recent years, same eye, same blood shot look. It comes without warning also. She gets eye boogers and it tears up as well. I wouldn't be so concerned about this if it wasn't for the fact that it has happened 4 times before. Can someone answer the cause of this and what we could do to solve this problem? I'm just a concerned boyfriend and I'd really appreciate any answer. THANKS!

You're right to be concerned and she should go to a doctor. Unfortunately it's not possible for us to tell anything about the cause and its treatment.

She could have ruptured a blood vessel, it happens, nothing to worry about. But if chronic eye boogers appear it could be the beginning of Conjunctivitis. If it persists, tell her to see a Doctor.

I'm being dead serious; this is not a joke. Her right eye sees into the past, but her left eye sees into the future. Whenever she finds out something bad is gonna happen, her eyes becomes bloodshot.
