Other people can say what they like. Vision is dependent on the person. Anyone intelligent understands that. Appreciating being able to see something doesn't mean everyone else will see itthe same way. An example would be apainting in an art gallery.

Also many kids with less than 20/10 vision if asked in an eyetest were they aware of having bad eyesight. Most would probably answer that they didn't notice any deficiency.

Lets use some common sense ok?

It depends- it's always better to have good vision, because obviously that means you don't require any kind of aid to see. You can't be a pilot without perfect vision, and there are some other jobs that require it, so yes, I would say so.
