Is LensCrafters a good place to get new glasses?!

I have been wearing glasses for just under two years and I am noticing that my vision has worsened and I'm getting frequent headaches so I will be calling my eye doctor on Monday to make an appointment. Because of what I have noticed, I am going to assume that she is going to change my prescription. I am wondering, if you have purchased eyeglasses from LensCrafters, were you satisfied with the service and the quality of the frames and lenses? I bought my first and current pair at Vision Works and the quality was good, but the service was a little slow.... Where else would you reccommend looking for glasses? My eye doctor sells glasses, but the selection is extremely limited and I don't want to look online because I really need to try them on to see how they look. Thanks for your input!
