About to give up with contacts =[?!

First...if you can see with your glasses...you AREN'T legally blind. Someone who is legally blind has terrible vision even with glasses ON .

If you couldn't get the contacts in with an actual teacher in front of you , and watching videos doesn't help....I would say you are a lost cause for now .

Written instructions won't help you if visual instructions didn't.

Giving you a pair to practice at home wasn't a smart thing to do. What if you get one in then can't get it out , and their office is closed ? Letting you leave with contacts like that is a dangerous and irresponsible thing to do.

You obviously don't have the right mind set or determination to get the job done , so you should just throw them away and try again at the Dr's office in a few months.

Sometimes just a long break is needed, then it will be easier the next time you try.

I have the same problem, you probably have very sensitive eyes like me.
Just keep trying, don't give up. If you get frustrated or your eyes become sore, then stop for the day and try again tomorrow. Don't strain your eyes.

Or find glasses that suit you, even if it takes hours to find the right glasses.
