What is wrong with my eye?!

Question: What is wrong with my eye?
I wear contacts, I have been wearing them for 2 years. Of course not one pair for 2 years :P But like my right eye has been sorta throbbing a little and is red a bit. I think it is my contact so I took it out then put it back on after school. Then this morning I took it off because it kept hurting and I had a hard time trying to go back to sleep but went eventually. So all day it has been hurting a little and tears fall down every couple of minutes. It hurts whenever I look in a direction without moving my head. It also hurts whenever I rub my eye to get the tears away.

I wasnt planning on answering any questions today but I can actually relate to this... :/
I wear contacts too and the exact same thing happened to me. My eye got red around the pupil and it throbbed and was very watery. But I needed to wear it for school and had misplaced my glasses so i wore it. BAD IDEA. My eye got red, very very watery, and it hurt to look at light. My contacts were also overdue, but I didnt have a new pair until the next week so stupidly, I kept wearing them.

Went to eye doctor and was told I had a corneal ulcer which is actually very serious and if not caught on time, you may need surgery and can go blind. When I saw my doctor, he said I would only end up with a small scar because I came for treatment early enough. I had to put in eye drops every two hours and COULD NOT wear my contacts. The treatment was pretty quick but I could not wear my contacts for 3 weeks. What happened was my contact scratched my cornea and my eye was basically eating at itself. Never sleep in your contacts or wear them overdue. I had to learn THAT the hard way. :/ It was a tough time and when I began wearing contacts again, the doctor warned me that wearing them could trigger my immune system and make my eyes very irritated, because my body is remembering what happened.

...I wear contacts now daily, but at first my eyes would get a little irritated. Its a lot better now. They still get a little pinkish around the pupil but only every once in awhile. Its getting lots better for me.
What I'm saying is I'm pretty sure you have a corneal ulcer because you described perfectly what I went through. It's only going to get worse if you do not see your doctor! Do not wear those contacts, its better being temporarily blind rather than permanently damaging your eye. I wouldnt wish this on anyone--hope this isnt the case for you--but you really need to see your doc. Good luck <3

pink eye? or there could be dust or something in the contacts
