Eye questions. AGAIN. Help? Sorry for asking much.?!

Question: Eye questions. AGAIN. Help? Sorry for asking much.?
So, I've been asking this for a while now. I have +6.00 plus grade and I'm 18.
So, what should I do to prevent the grades of my eyes from increasing?
And will I be blind because of nearsightedness?
Is this kinda serious?
Should I get worried?
So, when I'm in my 20s, will my eyesight be super worse?

I've been fussing about this for a while now. I have questions regarding th answers given to me but there is no "reply" or "comment" button to ask those who answered you =)) or there is but I just don't know where x)) So, please help? Thanks in advance for those who will answer and those who don't get tired of answering my concerns <3

there are A LOT of people with waaaaaay worse eye sight then that.
there's not much you can do to prevent it.
no you won't go blind.
no its really not that serious. like i said there are tons of people that have worse vision than you.
no you shouldn't get worried.
your eye sight will stablize between 18-21 so NO your eye sight won't get way worse in your 20's.

if you want to reply or comment on what people say just look at the "tool bar" thing thats below your question but above where people's answers are and go to the "edit" and click on "add details".

There is nothing you can do to affect your glasses prescription, it is genetic.

You are far sighted not nearsighted. In either case, you will never go blind from needing glasses. Blindness is due to trauma or disease, not due to needing glasses.

Needing glasses is not serious. Having untreatable eye disease like progressive optic atrophy that causes blindness is serious.

You should not worry about needing glasses. There is nothing at all to be concerned about.

Glasses prescription seldom changes very much after age 20.

I'm an optometrist

Im -8, shortsighted, I know my eyes are really bad, and I also worry, but theres nothing I can do, my eyes are very bad, I have had bad eyes since I was 11, im much older than you. I agree, you should ask yr optometrist, they will be able to answer yr questions and help you ease yr mind.
