putting in contacts?? 10 points best answer!?!

Question: Putting in contacts?? 10 points best answer!?
is it okay to practice putting in contacts over and over? or does it put too much strain on your eyes? i just got them today and i want to practice putting them in but didnt want to do it if it would like give me a headache or something.

Answers:

It wont' strain your eyes, however it might not be a wonderful idea. If you have dailies they aren't made to be taken in and out constantly and they might start to rip and tear. Also they are going to start to dry a bit as you won't have them in either your eye or the solution for quite a while. You might also get bits of fluff etc on them.

I'd suggest that you put them in once then say take them out for a couple of hours and try again if you want to do it more than once in a day. This will also give your eyes a slight break and more chance to get used to teh lenses. Dont' leave it too late to take your lenses out teh first time as people frequently have more problems taking them out than putting them in until they have practiced so its better not to be tired.

Do whatever you want to do, but you are eventually going to get practice just by having to put them on every day. If it's fun for your or you want to be quicker so you can get ready in the morning faster, knock yourself out. For me there was no point doing it over and over again since my eyes would get really red and watery and sore.

Its how I learned... It didn't give me a headache but your eyeballs start getting sore after a while, but its ok to practice
