Eye pain getting worse- developting lazy eye? pleassssee someone help- Thanks yo!

Question: Eye pain getting worse- developting lazy eye? pleassssee someone help- Thanks you?
I am a 20 year old male. About 10 days ago I started to feel pain behind my right eye. It hurt if i just barely pushed on it. I thought it was just from sinuses and did not think much about it. I felt like I may of had a little discharge coming out but im not really sure. It is kind of hard to describe the feeling but it almost feels like my muscle in my right eye is strained (the pain is behind the eye). It has gotten been getting worse daily. The last couple days i started to notice it was a little hard to focus on things and that my eye feels "lazy". Yesterday my right eye was shifted a little to my right and today it is even worse. It also sometimes moves a little slower than my left eye. What could this possibly be, I am really starting to worry. When i watch TV my eye sometimes will drift a little to my right.I went to the doctor 4 days after i started to notice the pain and he said there was nothing wrong however that was before my eye has started to shift over. I am going to schedule an appointment to go back but if anyone else has had anything like this or any idea what thia may be please please let me know I would really appreciate any help. Thanks a lot

You could have an eye infection including some form of conjunctivitis, sinus infection, blepharitis, a stye or chalazion. Simplistically, Ambyopia aka lazy eye, is disease found in early childhood where the brain fails to properly communicate with the eye, causing poor vision. You are probably referring to Strabismus which causes crossed or misaligned eye(s) often with tunnel vision. Adult onset strabismus can be caused by eye disease or trauma etc. Go back to your eye specialist or make an appointment with another ophthalmologist or optometrist for a second opinion. Make sure to explain all your eye problems to the eye doctor, just like you did in this questions. Part of the doctor's job is to answer you questions and explain your problems. Yahoo answerers can only give you best guesstimates only an eye specialist can give you a definitive diagnosis and proper treatment.
