Question: My eye is very red and puffy and sore to touch with lots of eye gunk coming out of it. I woke up like this?
What should I do? Ive treid washing it out with water and using some eye cleaning drops.

sounds like pink eye? if so, avoid touching doorknobs handles etc, so no one else gets it, the doctor will give you some eye drops and it'll go away.
