Do you mean your daughter's pupil is blue instead of black? If that is the case, make an appointment with a pediatric ophthalmologist immediately. If you mean her iris is mostly brown and there is blue surrounding the black pupil, it is unusual but I don't believe it signifies a problem, just mention it to the pediatric ophthalmologist at her next appointment.

Baby's first appointment for an eye exam is usually at 6 months of age then again at one year, then at 3 years old and just prior to to entering first grade. If your daughter has not been seen by a pediatric eye doctor yet, you really ought to make an appointment. Regularly scheduled eye exams and early detection can prevent or minimize many eye problems.
