Lines on contact lense?!
Question: Lines on contact lense?
I noticed a clear line on my left contact lense so I stopped wearing them because I was told wearing damaged lenses was harmful. I noticed a line at the same exact length and location on my right lense. Is this line supposed to be there? I think these are acuvue lenses,but I'm not sure because they're just samples. Thank you in advance.

They are probably toric lenses...for astigmatism.
Those laser marks on the lenses are supposed to be there.
Those markings are how we can check the proper rotation of the lenses when you have them on.
Optician
They might be bifocal lenses, which would explain the clear line.
Talk to your optometrist to see what's up, because I'm no professional.
