Question: Could this be pink eye or a cornea scratch on my eye?

I am a 21 year old college female that wears contacts often. I woke up this morning with my right eye crusted over. I proceeded to put in my contacts, with the right contact giving me trouble. I wore my glasses for the rest of the day, but my right eye is still teary/ goopy in the corner.

Sounds like a bacterial infection to me.

I am an optometric physician.

Go to your optometrist today to have your cornea looked at. Do not put your lenses in til you have seen them and they have said it is OK.
