Question: What happens when you get a needle poked in your eye?
ok so it wasnt a needle but me and my friends were playin basketball and my friend pedro, who wheres glasses that are broken, got fouled and the corner of his glasses poked into the white part of his eyes and next thing u knew blood was drippin down his face coming from his eye. He was trying to open his eye and it looked as if is was shooting blood in little squirts between the cracks of his shut eye lids. we called the E.M.S he got tooken away and thats all i know right now. Im wondering could my friend pedro go blind. We asked him if he could see out of it and he said no. About 3 mins later we asked again and he said quote" its a f..k.in a bloody blur out this eye". It was about 10 mins after whole thing that the E.M.S showed up im just curious as to what conditions are there in order for you to go blind out of your eye from it being poked. Were all 17 and thatd suck for him to go blind over a game. Best answear 10 points

If the glasses didn't penetrate any deeper than the white part of his eye, your friend should retain his vision. It is also possible that he couldn't see due to all the blood and not from the eye trauma.
There isn't much you can do, but wait and see what happens.
