How likely is it for a contact to slip?!

Question: How likely is it for a contact to slip?
I was putting in my contacts and rubbed an eye with a towel. I looked in the mirror, and it wasn't there. I've looked all over the floor. Is it possible it slipped in the back of my eye? I feel something strange when I move the eye like something's there.

They are always retrievable wherever they move to. When hard lenses were teh norm optiicans used to show you how to push them back onto the centre of the eye and issue you with comforting booklets saying they couldn't get round to the back of the eye as it was easier to get them off centre. Its just simply not physically possible. When it goes off centre when you have found it ( and a favourte place for them to get stuck is underneath the upper eyelid) use your eyelids to manipulate it back onto the centre of the eye. Don't stick your finger in your eye.

It is likely for them to move in your eye, if your messing with your eye a lot. But you will always find them because they cant get lost in your eye. If you're worried they are lost in your eye, see your doctor

if the contact was dry or your eye was dry then that is why.

Good luck
