Question: Why do eye colors change?
I was born with blue eyes. Like really blue eyes. When I was around 5 or 6, they started changing color. I'm 13 now, and now my eyes are really green with gold flecks. I always wondered how that happened...

Most children are born with eyes that look grey or blue which then change to their permanent color. The change usually occurs prior to 5 or 6 years old. Infants do not have pigment in their irides, as the melanin fills in, the color of their eyes change.
