did eye drops cause this ...?!

Question: Did eye drops cause this ...?
so a few months ago i thought i had a fingernail in my eye and waited a few days then went to the doctor, in those few days i was panicking a lot cuz no one believed (im 16) that i had something in my eye and i kept googling eye disorders and stuff that really scared me, then i went to the doctor and he said theres nothing in my eye and gave me a few eye drops, then i used them at night, when i woke up i had the strangest dizziness, i felt like i was unreal and like in a movie like my eyes were effed up. i still have this feeling TO THIS DAY, im dizzy all the time and i think im going crazy, so a few days after i went to another eye doctor and he said i had a slight infection in my eye and made me throw away those eye drops the other doc gave me and he gave me new eye drops. someone please tell me what i should do, i went to a neurologist and theres nothing wrong with my brain. the doctors think im faking this but i'm not. could the eye drops have caused this ?

Answers:

If the neurologist also did blood work and checked for other non-neruological physical illness/disease that could cause your dizziness etc. and found nothing, your next step is to speak to a school guidance counselor who may refer you to a mental health professional. You need to get back on track before you flunk out of school.

Some of your symptoms could be caused by poor diet meaning lots of sugar and bad carbs which could lower your blood sugar. Try adding more fruits and veggies to your diet, some good proteins like fish, chicken beans and nuts and whole grain pasta, rice or bread. Take a multivitamin once a day and stop thinking about yourself so much.

If you really feel like this is an issue than don't tell anyone else that you did all that internet searching because it sounds like you've convinced yourself that you have the symptom's that you read about. Every Dr. from here out will think it's mental, so leave the internet search out of the conversation. Finish the eye drops to get rid of the infection and the side effects should go away within 7 days.
