First time wearing contacts; uncomfortable sometimes?!

Question: First time wearing contacts; uncomfortable sometimes?
It's been about 3 or 4 days. Getting more used to putting them in and taking them out, but sometimes, it feels like the tip of the lens is bent and I tear and feel inclined to blink a lot. Idk... feels like there's a lash stuck there, but when I check, it's spick and span. Just worried it might be an infection or something, but my eyes feel fine, except for a little redness from the veins. So far, I haven't been experiencing any pain, but just that feeling there's something in your eye sometimes.

yeah, you just have to get used to it. be sure to always wash your hands before you touch your eyes/contacts. good luckk. :)

If you're wearing toric/astigmatism lens, that can occur. It's also possible that you're sensitive to the lens material, as the silicon hydrogel lenses can cause more irritation even though they are technically healthier for your eyes. At your follow-up you should mention this to your doctor, he/she may want you to try a different lens.

Well, there IS something in your eye--you put it there! 8-)

It can take a couple of weeks. Get some of the artificial-tear eyedrops, that will help lubricate the lenses so they float more easily on your eyes. It's a nice change from glasses, though, isn't it?
