Question: How can you tell if Dolce & Gabbana eyeglasses are real?
If the demo lense doesn't come with the stamp on it, is that a clue that it's fake? Thanks!

That would certainly be a clue. But, I doubt any company that is making fakes would make such a simple error. Putting the name on the demo lens is the easiest part.
Just don't be surprised to see " made in China " printed on it...they are.
The main clue to spotting fakes is the price. If it was 75 or $100.00 less than other sites...it's probably not genuine.
Fake brand name frames used to be a real problem when the originals were made in Germany, or Italy, or France. China was churning out cheap copies with little, or no penalty from their own government. But now that the originals are all made in China to start with, it is a much bigger problem for another Chinese company to try doing that without getting caught right away, and would probably face much harsher penalties now.
We don't hear much about fakes anymore.
