Contact Solution Malfunction?!

Question: Contact Solution Malfunction?
Yes, I am one of those idiots who didn't read the labels and just picked it up when I saw Clean Care Solution.... I soaked my contact lenses in them and woke up to find my eyes burning like crazy!! Worst feeling ever, so I waited a few hours after and I put my contact lenses in the solution I was supposed to use initially. It still burns my eyes though. Is it the contact lenses(should I throw it out) or is it because I never rinsed my contacts properly?

I think you mean clear care solution, and it's likely because you haven't neutralized the solution.

If you have the entire box and everything that came with the solution, then you have a contact lens holder and a neutralization catalyst (a little gray spoke-like plastic thing that snaps on to the bottom of the holder).

Put your contacts lenses in the holder, make SURE the catalyst spoke is on the bottom, then fill the lens holder up to the fill line and immerse your contacts in the holder and screw it down tight. Let it stay overnight. The neutralization catalyst will neutralize the solution, and hopefully the particles that adhered to your lenses so they'll be fine in the morning.

Well, finish the process with the Clear Care in the Clear care case, and they will be OK after.

Going through the process of 6 hours will neutralize the peroxide and they will be alright to wear.

If you don't have the Clear Care and the special case anymore, then you best just throw them out, because the peroxide will stay in those lenses otherwise.
