Help Abrasioned cornea?!

Question: Help Abrasioned cornea?
Any ophthalmologist here now?

I think I may have abrased my cornea a couple days ago because it feels like I have something stuck under my eyelid for the past 2 days. I'm going to wash it out again here in a bit.

I was putting some tropical acne medication containing benzoyl peroxide on my face and my hand slipped when applying it and got some in my right eye on the medial side near the nasolacrimal collecting duct.

It burnt like hell for awhile and couldn't wash it out for a few minutes cause I couldn't open my eye but I eventually flushed it out and had a white discharge come from my eye, assuming it might have been the benzoyl peroxide or maybe some aqueous humor.

If you actually have a corneal abrasion and it hasn't healed in 2 days, you need to see an ophthalmologist or optometrist urgently. Symptoms of Corneal Abrasion include, tearing, discomfort/pain, light sensitivity and the feeling of having a foreign body in your eye. If you have flushed your eye several times, the acne medication would have flushed out of your eye quickly. Corneal Abrasions are not sight threatening unless left untreated. Eyes heal fairly quickly, so whatever is wrong with the eye, be it an infection, abrasion or inflammation, you need professional treatment before it get worse.
