Can I get glasses for class?!

Question: Can I get glasses for class?
I have always had very good eye sight, but recently I have noticed that when I am sitting in a classroom, sometimes when I go from looking at my notes up to the board, the words on the board are fuzzy and I cannot usually completely focus on them even after looking at them for a while. Also, sometimes while I am looking at something like a website, the words are fuzzy too. Is there any way I can just get non-prescription glasses to help with this? If so, I am not familiar with the different strengths of glasses, so could you please tell me what a very low strength would be?

On trick you can do is poke a small hole in a piece of paper and look through the hole. You should be able to see the board through the hole - try it. :) Actually, google pinhole glasses. They look kind of retarded, but you would probably be able to see in class with them (try the hole in the paper first). You are nearsighted (myopic) and the glasses that you can buy at a pharmacy are for farsightedness (hyperopia) and would only make your problem worse. Your best option is to go to an ophthalmologist or optometrist and get prescription glasses made for you.

You really need to go and get a proper eye test. Unfortunately bad eyesight tends to start in your early teens and your vision stablizes in your 20's. Only an optiican can tell what perscription you need - off the shelf ones are only for long sightedness and you have typical symptoms of near sightedness and/or astigmatism.
