Question: How do I go about getting a prescription for Gunnar glasses?

I am considering buying a pair of Gunnar glasses. For those of who that know about Gunnar glasses and preferably have had them and wished to have or have them with a prescription. I was wondering if I do buy a pair of Gunnar glasses is it possible to just go sometime later and get a prescription for the gunnar glasses I own if I take them into my optical professional? Or do I have to of already purchased them with the prescription beforehand.
