can a sty cause a black eye?!

Question: Can a sty cause a black eye?
I had an irritation in my left eye along the lashline near the inner corner, I asumed it was just an unhappy eyelash since I could not see anything amiss. The next day it was a little swollen and a bit more tender but I still thought little of it, simply iced it a little to reduce swelling, took an Ibuprofen for the discomfort, put in my contacts, applyed eyemake-up and went on my way.
Today I woke up with a black eye - not especially swollen but a black eye none the less. I frantically examined my eye and found the inside of the lower lid quite red with a lump that I'm pretty sure is a sty. I don't think it's more than that because there's not crust or puss, very little swelling and any pain/irritation seems to be gone. I'm going to start using hot compresses/tea bags for the sty but the black eye part is concerning me since I did not try to squeeze the sty or harm the space around my eye in any way.
Should I be worried about this? I can't afford to go to a doctor. Is it common for this type of bruising to happen?

ok i have a eye sty too, on the first 3-4 days my eye lid was pretty swollen and i used to look drunk and sleepy. But as time passed by it's not swollen anymore but my eye lid's opening capacity is kind of shrunk like 10% (i don't look drunk anymore though) and its kinda looks good with small eyes. I really want the other eye to be like this but its impossible i guess. I went to the doctor, and they said that they will lift over the eye lid and inject something on the sty and as i am so scared of anything coming near my eye especially an injection, nahh thanks.
As far as i know it doesn't causes a black eye...but u might look drunk lol

Take out your contact lenses and see your Optician/Optometrist. If you have a black eye for no apparent reason it needs to be checked out.

With respect - if you can afford contact lenses you should ALWAYS have money aside to seek medical attention when necessary...
