HELP! My soft contact lens is lost in my eye!!!?!

Question: HELP! My soft contact lens is lost in my eye!!!?
I accidentally slept in my soft contacts last night and when I woke up this morning they were both like sliding around my eye. I go to take them out and I get the left one out but when I go to get the right one I can't find it. I rolled my eyes around a bit then it appeared at the bottom of my eye a little bit so I blinked to try to move it up more and it disappeared again! Now I have no idea where it is and I've been putting drops in my eye and moving it around and such to try to find it and get it out. I looked everywhere so I'm pretty positive that it didn't fall out but I can't like feel it in my eye. Like my eye feels a bit irritated but I'm pretty sure that it's just from me messing with it trying to get this contact out. I know that it is impossible for a contact to get lost behind your eye so I'm not worried about it, I just want this contact out. But, if it doesn't come out anytime soon, can I put another lens in that eye? Because I would still like to see...

I would say to keep moving your eye are and blinking a lot.

Do not put another contact in if you are absolutely sure that contact is still in your eye.

Personal Experience

Do not put another lens in your eye until that one comes out. I would recommend going to the eye doctor ASAP to find it - if you have a good relationship with your eye doctor he'll probably just pull it out for your real quick and not charge you for it. Your eye health is at risk if you don't get it out, you run the risk of scratching your eye. Also, the lens can tear and then pieces will be stuck in your eye.

Sleeping with your lenses in is a bad idea!!

Been wearing lenses for 17 years.
