Question: Itchy and burning eye due to direct contact from formaldehyde?
Im 17, and im in an anatomy class. During our dissection unit, i was pulling the specimen out (its covered in formaldehyde) and i think some of it got in my eye. How long does it take for it to stop burning? Ive been flushing my eye, but plz help!

Continue to flush your eye until it stops burning.
It may continue to burn.. let it do that for 5 minutes and if it still does not go away, flush again?!
