headache and pain when moving eyes?!

Question: Headache and pain when moving eyes?
hi there,
since friday, i have been experiencing pain in my eyes. (today is sunday). whenever i move my eyes to the far left right/ far up or down, i experience a dull pain behind my eyes (feels like the top of the eye socket) and in my temples. i also think i may have a slight fever and i have a slight cough, though these have both subsided. im 15, and going through a very stressful time and the moment, with exams and some big decisions, and have never experienced a headache like this before. please help!!! im quite worried and my mock exams start on monday!! thanks

Decide what is your priority here. You obviously understand that you're stressed because of your exams and you also notice you have headaches and problems turning your eyes. I was going to say when I saw the title of your question that you need to lay off the books for the while. But it doesn't seem a possible thing to do with exams approaching. Well I think if you're going ahead with these exams you'll have to find some compromise. If the headaches prevent you from being comfortable during an exam then you will need to change your ambitions and work on things on a more constrained basis. It's not wise to bite off more than you can chew.
I think everyone growing up finds a point where they are over-doing something and need to learn they are not super human and have to compromise sometimes.

It's wise also not to panic if you get trouble with your eyes. Yes it as an indicator that you have been stressing and reading too much so take a break. Once your eyes got enough rest the muscle will be functioning normally again.

Also your health is more important than your grades. Come on these exams ere aboutbpleasing others. Looking after your eyes is all about your own interests. Good eyesight helps you make the most of life.

Pain when moving eyes to extreme right or left is a sign of a temperature. Take some panadol to help with the headache and the fever, keep up the liquids and if it's no better tomorrow go and see a doctor. It's more than likely nothing to be overly worried about, maybe just a head cold.

how about you take some aspirin/advil/tylenol (one of them) and get rid of the headache.
